Professional Career

Derrick was one of 60 NBA prospects invited to participate in the 2017 NBA Draft Combine. Later, he was only one of 15 combine invitees who were not listed in Rivals’ top-150 prospects in high school, and he was one of three personalities who did not make any significant commitment to Division I programs after graduating from high school.
