She later worked as a sports anchor for four other New York area radio stations until 1987, including a brief stint as an updated person at WFAN in New York City.
Similarly, she was able to make sportscasting history in 1987. Because when ABC hired her, she became the first full-time female sports anchor in the United States on a national radio network.
